Jeita Grotto consists of a group of small karst caves formed by the disintegration of limestone over the ages, and this disintegration has many doubts and expansions within the rocks, and these caves contain many different rock formations such as columns, limestone sediments and stalagmites. Jeita is the longest cave in Lebanon, extending to a depth of 2130 meters underground. The cave consists of an upper cave and a lower cave. The cave has been equipped for visitors by opening a 117-meter concrete tunnel and providing it with the latest lighting technologies.
