The Royal Botanical Garden of Cordoba is a botanical garden with an area of about 5.5 hectares, and the garden plays an important part in the conservation of plants, as it presents multiple and innovative works in the international agenda for nature conservation in the botanical gardens. Where the park was established in July 1980 at the initiative of a group of professors from the University of Cordoba, where the city council agreed to allocate a plot of land for its construction. The park received the title of Royal in 2012, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of its inauguration, which was granted to it by King Juan Carlos I.
