Founded by the late Jimmy Hall along with the city of Johannesburg in February 1964, the James Hall Museum of Transport in Johannesburg is the largest and most extensive road transport museum in South Africa. For more than a century, this museum is the most comprehensive road transport museum in South Africa, displaying many old modes of transport from cars, minibuses and trains, with displays and thematic exhibitions in various galleries.
