The Museum of Intangible Cultural Heritage, which was inaugurated on June 15, 2013 as a result of the dedicated work of Gazi University of Turkish Folklore faculty members and financial contributions of Ankara Kalkina Agency, is the first museum in Turkey in its field. The museum preserves many cultural values through the activities it organizes from village plays and children’s plays, and the museum’s activities for handicrafts, and many cultural values are revived such as tales, folk songs, stories, lullabies, traditional conversation meetings, the representative henna night, and many others that reflect Turkey’s cultural history.
