The Mehmet Akif Ersoy House Museum is located in the Cankaya district of Ankara. It is the house where Mehmet Akif Ersoy resided during the years of the Turkish War of Independence, and then it was converted into a museum that includes many of his poems, especially the national anthem. Among the works displayed in the museum are: a pocket watch, glasses, a rosary, a gun, and a mold of the face of the great poet Mehmet Shekif Ersoy in the museum house. In the outer garden of the house there are many stone souvenirs on which the most important sayings of the poet are engraved.
