The Image Museum is a cultural space in Braga dedicated to photography, which opened its doors on 25 April 1999, is located in Campo das Hortas next to the Porta Nuova Arch in a building restored by the architect Sergio Borges, whose mission is to collect and promote The visual memory of Braga and its surroundings, as well as the preservation of its historical archive consisting of more than 200,000 photos belonging to two iconic houses of photography in Braga.
