The House of the Virgin Mary is located on the top of Mount "Bulbul", 9 km from Ephesus in Izmir. It has a spiritual and wonderful atmosphere hidden in a picturesque green area. It is believed to be the place where the Virgin Mary spent her last days. In fact, it is said that she came to the area with St. John, who spent several years in the area to spread Christianity, and this house is a typical Roman architectural example made entirely of stone, and in the fourth century AD, a church was built combining its house and its tomb.
