Information about Trajan Fountain
Trajan's Fountain is located at the northern end of Curitis Street, on the eastern side, next to the Temple of Hadrian. The inscriptions on the fountain indicate that it was built in the second century AD, and was built in honor of Emperor Trajan, who was headed by a huge statue of him. This fountain is considered one of the most impressive of the three fountains of Ephesus, as the fountain basin was 20 x 10 meters, surrounded by columns, and statues, and these statues were of Dionysus, the Greek god, Aphrodite, and the emperor's family, but now, these statues are displayed in the Ephesus Museum, and they remained The effects of the fountain, and its basins in place.
