The House Museum of the First Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party is one of the oldest museums in Minsk. It was opened in 1923 AD, in a building where the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party was founded in 1898 AD. Since 1992, the House Museum has been a branch of the National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus. The museum presents the history of the Russian Social-Democratic Congress, in addition to the history of Minsk Province at the beginning of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The House Museum is included in the State Register of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus as a historical monument. Group trips from schools and universities are organized periodically here, with the aim of learning about the country's ancient culture and history.
