The Upland Gate is the main entrance to the old town of Gdask, and is one of the most prominent historical attractions that attract many lovers of photography and majestic architecture. This gate is surrounded by huge walls that have protected the city throughout the ages, and it was considered the beginning of the royal road for a long time. It was given this name because of its high location above the water level. This gate is decorated with statues symbolizing each of Gdansk, Prussia and Poland.
