Information about Hasan Pasha Inn
The history of the Hasan Pasha Inn dates back to 1572-1575, and was built by the Vizier Hasan Pasha (Vezirzade Hasan Pasha). Located in Tyre, one of the central districts of Diyarbakir, the hostel still retains its historical atmosphere after the restorations made throughout history. Khorasan mortar compatible with its texture and solid structure was used for its restoration. There is a large courtyard in the middle of the lodge and has a rectangular plan of three stories, including the barn in the basement where the caravans were used to house their animals.
