As a historical facility that represents Korea's advanced scientific and technological capabilities, the Gwacheon National Science Museum seeks to encourage young visitors to take an interest in art and share it with the general scientific principles that govern their daily lives. The future, and the main building contains five open exhibition centers: the Basic Science Center, the High-Tech Center, the Children's Experience Center, the Natural History Center and the Traditional Science Center. Nearby are the planetarium, observatory, open exhibition, and the insect ecosystem center. More than 50% of the exhibition items are interactive. This allows visitors to participate in scientific experiments.
