Seoul Grand Park is a family park consisting of many themed facilities that promote the growth and preservation of diverse animals and plants. It is the first and largest amusement park in South Korea, located at the foot of Mount Cheonggi. It was opened in 1984 after all the animals were moved from Changyeong Palace, which includes Seoul Zoo, Rose Garden, Botanical Garden (the largest of its kind in the country), Children's Zoo, Seoulland (theme park) and the National Museum of Contemporary Art with a large lake in the middle.
