The Gaziantep Museum of Cultural History was opened to visitors on December 25, 2009, and its purpose is to reveal the culture of the city of Gaziantep and to remind of its past and ancient history. The city has passed through it since the twelfth century when it appeared. The ground floor of the central library building of Gaziantep University has been renovated and made suitable for displaying museum works.
