Gezi Palace or Ataturk's Palace is located in Diyarbakir; It is a historic palace dating back to the 15th century and consisting of two floors, which was used by the commander of the 16th Legion Mustafa Kemal Ataturk during the First World War. Ataturk, who came to Diyarbakir on March 14, 1916, stayed in this palace until March 27, 1917. It was purchased by the Diyarbakir Municipality in 1937 and presented to Ataturk.
