The Pacamaristos Church was built in the eleventh and twelfth centuries, and during the Byzantine period it was an important religious building. 20th century, opened as Fethiye Museum in 2006, and today it houses the most beautiful examples of Byzantine mosaics from the 14th century after those in Hagia Sophia and Chora Church.
