St. Mary the Mughal Church is an Eastern Orthodox church located in the Balat neighborhood in the Fatih district of Istanbul, standing on top of a cliff overlooking the Golden Horn. It is the only surviving Byzantine church in Constantinople that was not converted by the Ottomans into a mosque, and although it is not open to the public, but Its building is of immense historical importance, which makes it worth visiting and admiring its impressively decorated architecture.
