Information about Espaco Lucio Costa
Located under the Three Powers Square, this museum, managed by the Secretary of State for the Federal District for Culture, was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer with the aim of honoring the capital's founder, Lucio Costa. It is the oldest museum in it, and it was opened on February 27, 1992. It is a historical landmark, as the opening represented the official transfer of the capital to Brasilia. It includes the parchment scrolls, some statues, a life-size model of Brasilia, panels with copies of the project and photographs of the historical plan at the time of construction and the founding of the city.
