The famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer designed the National Congress building in 1985 in the heart of the capital, Brasília, and as with many Niemeyer-style buildings, the design of this building is modern, contemporary and elegant. The National Congress consists of two 27-storey twin towers, with a huge front garden, a wide white dome covering the Senate Chamber, and an inverted dome on the other side covering the House of Representatives, and this is the place that attracts the attention of fans of modern architecture.
