The English Garden in Craiova is a real oasis in the city center, created in the interwar period. It is an English-style garden, designed according to the plans of the architect Constantin Iotzu, and in the center there is a beautiful fountain and many types of flowers. Picturesque, it is surrounded by a number of interesting historic buildings, such as the White House, the former Discount Bank, and St. Elias Church.
