Information about Emir Sultan Mausoleum
The Mausoleum of Emir Sultan, which was built in the 15th century by Hundy Hatun, the wife of Emir Sultan, is located on the outskirts of Uludag, east of Bursa, and was renovated in 1868 during the reign of Abdul Hamid. The mausoleum has an octagonal plan covered by a dome carried by a high roller. On one of the windows facing the mosque, the Islamic inscriptions draw attention with its beauty. In the middle, there is the sarcophagus of Prince Sultan, and next to it is the sarcophagus of his son Prince Ali.
