One of the largest and perhaps the most magnificent of all Indian temples, the Burj Al Sharq Temple is a vast complex dotted with over ten gopura towers, the largest of the four towers located at the cardinal points on each side of the wall surrounding the complex. Today, the temple can be simply described as among the largest and richest ever built in India, its walls are filled with many brightly colored carved stucco figures (renovated every twelve years), and inside the temple is a network of wide corridors with painted ceilings Brightly colored supported by hundreds of exquisitely carved pillars.
