The name of the central area in Beirut is called “Downtown Beirut”, and it is a lively area that has been a tourist and commercial center since the fifteenth century, until it was a central area for the exchange of goods coming from land and sea, and by the emd of the 20th century, many touristic facilities and buildings were constructed here by the leading company Solidere, and its even called today "The Solidere District".
