Surrounded by gun turrets and an imposing monument, the Coastal Battery Museum No. 35 is housed in waterfront fortifications from the early twentieth century and is home to the "Maxim Gorky I" and "Maxim Gorky II" coastal armored batteries used during the Crimean Campaign in World War II.
