The Tauris Kherson Reserve is one of the most prominent archaeological tourism attractions in the Crimea in Ukraine, and it is basically a Greek colony dating back to the sixth century BC. After that, the colony area was transformed into an archaeological reserve, as it includes many ancient buildings that mix many architectural styles, including Greek, Roman and Byzantine. These buildings include the amphitheater of a Roman temple. The square is also surrounded by a defensive wall of about 3605 km in length, 4 meters in width and 10 meters in height. The reserve was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009.
