Built in the 11th century on the foundations of the first place of worship in the area dates back to 908, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin of Tolog is located a few kilometers southwest of Perpignan. It is famous for its Romanesque style, which includes a stunning white marble portal. Over the centuries, its walls were covered with a layer of lime and red paint.
