Chernihiv Regional Museum of Art houses a valuable collection of artworks. The collection includes more than 9,000 works of art from the 16th century to the present, and these works are a reflection of the history and culture of the Ukrainian people. The bulk of the museum's collection consists of works by prominent Ukrainian figures of the 20th century, as well as some paintings by Italian artists of the 17th and 18th centuries. The museum also includes a section dedicated to popular games that includes more than 350 games, most of which are made of wood, clay, straw and dough
