Cape Arkona includes two lighthouses and a radio navigation tower on the German Baltic coast on the Wittow Peninsula in the northern part of the island of Rügen. The lighthouse was designed by the famous German architect Schinkel in a classic style. All three towers were renovated in the early 1990s from The twentieth century, and in the old lighthouse there is a museum that includes an exhibition on lighthouses and sea rescue, as well as an outside station for the local registry office.
