Hamma Botanical Garden was established for scientific experiments in 1831, and it provides an ideal plot of land for agricultural schemes for its richness with clean water and thanks to its cold climate near the sea. Its main function at the beginning was to spread useful plants for medicinal, economic and commercial purposes before adopting scientific and horticultural activities, and there are currently an estimated 1200 different types of different plants, designed in the unique French style, and includes within it a Museum of Fine Arts and a small zoo, in addition to To a group of paths and a water fountain, and of course the wooden benches that punctuate the vast green areas that contain trees over 150 years old and others up to 30 meters tall.
