The Fire Tower is one of the most important fortifications in the city of Sfax. It is located in the southeastern corner of the city near Bab Diwan and Bab Borj Al Nar. It is connected to the city walls and gives a panoramic view of all the coastal facade of the city as well as part of the eastern facade. The Fire Tower occupies a total area of 600 square meters, surrounded by four towers, and its original architecture was damaged by the bombing of the Second World War, and currently the tower hosts many cultural events for the city of Sfax.
