Dar Jallouli Museum is a regional museum of folklore and arts. It is located in an aristocratic house from the eighteenth century in the heart of the city of Sfax, the capital of the south. The house was bequeathed by a Sfaxian bourgeois family. Placing the four rooms of the house in a T-shape around a square courtyard, these rooms were self-contained apartments. Today these rooms, especially those on the ground floor, depict scenes from traditional daily life in the city of Sfax, characterized by the duality of rural and urban.
