The Bekaa Valley is the heart of modern Lebanese wine, where nearly 90 percent of Lebanon's wine is made here, so it is the first and most important producer of wine. The valley has fertile red natural soil, suitable for all types of crops, where olive and fig trees and many seasonal agricultural crops are grown here, along with vineyards.
