The fortified fortress of Bait Al-Mogham Located on a farm in the suburb of Bausher, close to the last remaining sand dunes in the city, Beit Al-Mogham is a surprising discovery in the creases of the Hajar Mountains, where new homes slowly spread around in this area. But this small fortress at the present time provides a wonderful glimpse into the life of Muscat, which was once common. It is possible that Lady Soraya bint Muhammad bin Azzan was the one who built this village in the twelfth century AD.
