Bawshar is one of the largest areas of Muscat, located in the north-east of the capital, overlooking the Sea of Oman from the north. Bawshar contains many archaeological monuments that increase its historical and cultural value, such as mosques and old houses that reflect the creativity of the ancient Omani architecture, in addition to its geographical value. Being along the coast, Bawshar is a wonderful area and a destination for many tourists. It also includes the most prestigious sites in Muscat such as Al Ghubra Al Shamali and others, so a visit to Muscat is not complete without going there.
