Information about Ataturk House Museum
The Ataturk House Museum is located in a 19th century building built by Imam Rashid Agha, in which Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who came to the city as head of the representation between December 19-21, 1919, was hosted, is one of the few examples of classical Kayseri houses that have survived to this day. It is built of wooden materials covered with cut stones, and its ceiling is decorated with wooden decorations. It was converted into a museum by the Ministry of Culture in 1998. It displays 41 works including Ataturk's photographs taken in the city and the advertisement published in Kayseri.
