The Church of the Forty Martyrs is located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City. It is an old Armenian church dating back to the fifteenth century AD. This church consists of a large hall that houses important icons such as the image of the Virgin Mary dating back to the Renaissance era, in addition to its interior walls with beautiful decorations and inscriptions. Its large bell is an example of majestic Baroque architecture.
