The Archaeological Museum of Kos was founded in 1936 by the Italians and consists of two floors. The western hall hosts statues of the Hellenistic period, most of which were found stored in the arcades of the Odeon, and the northern hall hosts the imposing statue of Hippocrates (14th century British Columbia) as well as funerary statues.
