Kos Cathedral is one of the island's most impressive religious buildings inside and out, built in the 1930s. The interior features elaborate paintings, carved furniture, marble floors, white walls and blue vaulted ceilings that glow in the sun outside. It also contains the church library, theater and lecture hall. It is really a place worth visiting.
