The historic Alaka tomb of Prince Sadr al-Din Omar bin Jalal al-Din Muhammad was built by Prince Jamal al-Din bin Muhammad in 1280 AD according to the information contained in the inscription engraved on it. All the decorations of the dome are located on the northern door and around the window on the western facade, and they are dominated by geometric and vegetal decorations.
