Information about Ahi Serafettin Tomb
The tomb of Ahi Sharaf al-Din is located opposite the mosque of the same name in the Aslanhan district. Its construction dates back to 1350 AD, where there is an Arabic inscription on the south window of the tomb. The tomb was built of cut stone and bricks, and its dome was covered with a wooden roof. It was restored in 1947 AD according to its original form. The carved sarcophagus of Ahi Sharaf al-Din, made with a superior artistic technique, was transferred to the Museum of Ethnography.
