The Strait of Milford Sound, which inhabits the southwestern region of the island of New Zealand, located specifically on the banks of the western coast of the Tasman Sea, is a fjord that hides many natural paintings inside. This strait belongs to the Fiordland Park, and because of its scenic beauty, it has been included in the list of the World Heritage of Humanity, and many New Zealand state parks join it. Although the journey to this gorge is somewhat difficult but it is worth it, where you will eventually be rewarded with green forests, picturesque cliffs, and many charming landscapes. There you can find many interesting activities, such as hiking and kayaking, watching the dolphins, whales and seals that inhabit the area. Among the most important landmarks within this strait: the lion's summit, which extends over 1302 meters, and the summit of the elephant, which extends at a height of 1517 meters, and the reason for its name is due to the fact that it takes the shape of an elephant's head from its top, in addition to the summit of Miter, which extends at a height of 1692 meters.
