This bridge was built in 1940 on the Tutoko River on the highway to Milford Sound. The bridge was replaced in 1981 by a new adjacent highway bridge to deal with increased traffic. Then the bridge was opened to pedestrians in order to enjoy this wonderful historical place that gives visitors from different parts of the world a lot of stunning landscapes that should not be missed.
