Esquel, located in the Andean region of the Patagonian province of Chubut, 300 km south of Bariloche and 650 km west of Trelew, is an important commercial center in the region, and an ideal destination for camping, sports and relaxation. This mountainous city includes Los Aleres National Park, along with many stunning landscapes, and provides the opportunity for fishing in the period between spring and autumn, and offers the possibility of skiing in the winter, as it is the most famous ski center in the region. In addition, Esquel is the most famous train departure station in Patagonia ("La Trocchetta"), and is home to many luxury hotels, excellent service restaurants and great local shops that attract tourists from all over.
