The Silesian Voivodeship is located in southern Poland, and it is a very historical region, although most of its territory is now divided between the regions surrounding Poland, with some of it located across the border in Germany and the Czech Republic. Many wonderful natural attractions can be found in Silesia, as one can go Rock climb in Poland's Jurassic Highlands, ski in the Silesian Beskids, or hike along the Eagle's Nests Trail and stop at any of the 25 medieval castles along the way.
