Russia's Siberian region extends from the Ural Mountains in the west to the Pacific Ocean in the east. The climate in Siberia is known for its extreme cold in winter and moderate temperature in summer. The region is characterized by its diverse terrain, including desert, lakes and rivers. The Siberian Desert is considered one of the coldest regions in the world, and it is called the icy desert. Siberia contains many natural landmarks that greatly attract tourists, such as lakes, some of which are classified on the World Heritage List because they are of stunning and enchanting beauty. Also among the prominent natural landmarks is the mountain area, where tourists can practice various sports such as mountain climbing or hiking. The Siberian region also contains many natural reserves, gardens and parks, and includes a number of rivers such as the Yenisei River. Tourist attractions in Siberia are not limited to natural areas only, but also include some historical and archaeological sites distributed throughout it, giving it a special cultural and historical character.
