Dobruja is home to the Danube Delta; One of the best wildlife reserves in Europe, it is also considered the smallest region in Romania but one of its richest regions, and includes a unique mix of Romanians, Turks, Tatars, Lipovans, Greeks and Ukrainians. It therefore boasts a multicultural heritage that makes it truly special, and this heritage is reflected in its monuments, customs and traditions. Language and gastronomy, and thanks to its location west of the Black Sea, the region includes 245 kilometers of sandy coastline and the largest port in the country, and is filled with traditional fishing villages, ancient forts and picturesque landscapes, making it a region full of wonders.
