The Zoological Museum belongs to the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences of the University of Catania and is located in an Art Nouveau building on Via Androne, It is one of the main natural museums that displays a wide range of rare specimens in southern Italy. It contains a group of exotic birds that were donated by the aristocrat Angelina Paternò Castello. And a group of insects and mammals from outside Europe and the skull of the sperm whale and others.
