One of the most important zoos in Germany, Schwerin Zoo is a medium-sized park with an area of about 25 hectares, which opened on April 24, 1956 in the German city of Schwerin. The park is home to about 154 species of wild animals, local pets and birds, which are estimated to number about 2,400 animals, including: leopards, giraffes, deer, lions, ducks, ostriches, and others.
