The ancient Znojmo Castle, located in the river valley in the town, is one of the distinctive archaeological monuments, with a long history, as it was established in the twelfth century, with the aim of protecting and controlling the town's borders. The front, as well as the inscriptions and interior decorations, in addition to the presence of a number of frescoes in the rooms that visitors can enjoy watching.
