The Zeringer Fountain is located in the old city of Bern, and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as it dates back to the year 1535 AD. It was built to commemorate Berchtold von, the founder of Bern, who placed his statue above the fountain in the center, above the colorful column with a unique design. The fountain is surrounded by many local shops, restaurants and cafes, so it is considered one of the most popular destinations for tourists and locals.
